Here’s a free slice from the loaf of my Tai Chi session: when you stand on your feet, sense your weight on your feet, the pressure between your feet and the floor, the sensation of socks or shoes or floor against the skin.
When someone says “he’s so grounded,” what the hell does that mean? If you want to be grounded, start with your feet. Feel your feet, and grounding begins. Remember it on the podium. Your body and your choir will thank you.
